Hello Piranhas!!

We are very excited for the start of our 2022 season! Just a few reminders of upcoming important dates:

Tomorrow! Is our Team Kickoff Event! 

Thursday, May 5 2022 – Swim Team Kickoff – The Peninsula Club Pool Deck – 5:30-7:30 (drop in)

Drop by to say Hi, meet the coaches and catch up with old friends. We will be on deck to help with finding the correct size team suit and how to order.

Monday, May 16, 2022 – First day of Practice.

**Reminder - there will not be towel service during practice - please bring your own towels**

Practice starts on Monday, May the 16^th.

5pm-5:30pm - Junior Piranhas (8 & under/first year Piranhas)

5:30-6:00pm - 8-10yr old Piranhas/invited Junior Piranhas

6:00-6:45pm - 11& 12 yr old Piranhas/ invited 10&under Piranhas

13& over Piranhas: 6:45-7:30pm

Green & White – Intrasquad Swim Meet & Team Pictures – Thursday, June 2.

We will take our Team Pictures at 4:30pm. All Junior Piranhas and Piranhas should join us. Be sure to wear you team suit!

After our picture our Piranhas will participate in an Intrasquad Swim Meet. We will need parent volunteers to help. Sign ups are open on SwimTopia.

Meet will start at 5:30 and will end no later than 7:30pm.

Be sure to log into our team site – this is our hub for communication, meet sign up, volunteer sign up and any events we will have. This is were you will be able to find meet results after a swim meet as well.

If you can not make it to the kick off or you know the size of suit you need for this season - order your team suit here.  There are several options - some options are out of sizes but the other options have those missing sizes, it just may take a few clicks! :)  You will also see some Piranah team gear for either your swimmer or yourself!  Remember each registered swimmer will recieve a t-shirt and cap, but feel free to order extras!  Everything will be shipped directly to you!  

We Need Volunteers All Season!

A huge shout out to our 2022 Parent Volunteer Coordinators – Stephanie Beale and Jennifer Fornelli.

Swimming is a heavily volunteer supported sport, we can not hold a swim meet without the help of the parents. Stephanie and Jennifer have stepped up and agreed to make sure the Piranhas have all 100% of our Volunteer spots filled for every single meet. Keep in mind, if they ask you to fill a spot, it is because the spot has yet to be filled and it is critical to the success of that specific meet. Job sign ups are available on our Swimtopia website.

Swim Meet Sign ups!

You will see emails from us all season long about sign up or declining a swim meet. Please go ahead and look at your summer plans and calendar and go into Swimtopia to let us know which meets you will Attend or Decline. Our Piranhas team Meets (Mondays or Thursdays) have entry deadlines, which mean after a certain day we will not be able to add you to the meet – so it is important to let us know your intentions as soon as you as you can!
